About Dino

My real name is Khairil Iszuddin. I have been called Dino by my family since I could remember. Ever since, relative, friends also call me by that name as well. So you can continue the tradition.

I am from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I guess you know where that is, I hope. Well, I have the interest in computers since my father bought his first computer. It was some green monochrome computer. I was in my first grade then. My first programming book was my father's, BASIC. And then, my interest in computers grew. I start to develop a deeper interest in programming. That's why now, I am a web developer doing Perl, ASP and PHP.

My knowledge in computer assembly started after secondary school (after 11 year in formal education in Malaysia). My first computer was a classic Pentium 166Mhz or something like that. Since then, I try to keep pace with the computer technology.

Since 1997, if I remember correctly, I see the classic Pentium, then the MMX, Celeron, Pentium II, Pentium III and now, Pentium IV. Also, the AMD and Cyrix was quite famous as well back then. There was the AMD K5 that competed with the MMX if I am not mistaken. Then the AMD K6 and AMD K6-2. Now the Athlon and Duron.

As for memory, from the normal SIMM to the DIMM, SDRAM, DDRAM and what ever else is in the market.

I also had the privilege to use and experience the 386, 486SX and the 486DX. Do you remember the time when computer systems come with 80MB hard disk and that was like ... "Whoah ... !! You've got a huge space, man."

I use to do computer assembly as side income for friends and families. But now, I just do it for myself and as a hobby. Now, I starting to like this computer case modding. This way you can have your own unique custom built computer case. It does not have to be the same anymore.

Oh yea ... Just a little bit more about my background. Like I said, I am a web developer. I can also develop software but that is not my specialty anymore since my interest in web development grew. I am a computer science degree graduate. Graduated in 2001. In my twenties now. I guess that should cover it. Thanks for visiting my website.
